The thing that always irritates me is you try to explain to folks like this that the hardest thing on your car is not driving it enough and just taking short trips. The cars never get up to temperature and are always going through battery's or have dead battery's.

Its defiantly a good idea to keep all of your deleted parts, but their is no one enforcing or checking for deleted pickups besides when its time to get a state inspection if your state requires it or an emission sticker. There are so many diesel pickups on the road it would be almost impossible...

I would go every six months or every oil change which ever comes first with a good quality grease.

I would go with a heavy duty red ELC coolant like Chevron ELC or Rotella ELC. ELC is best for diesel engines.

I think it was Coastal fleet 15w40. I had an 83 F250 with a 6.9 IDI that I got off my dad when I was 15 and he use to use that oil in that truck, and I think that was what I used for a while. I probably had bought Delo 15w40 or Rotella 15w40 for the tractor or equipment before that somewhere...
