Why are you using 10w-30 in the summer and 15w-50 in the winter? You should be using the heavier weight oil in the summer when its hot and the lighter weight oil in the winter when its colder. Was this just a typo?

The local quick change place near my home only uses Mighty Engine Guard 2 Oil filters. Anyone have any experience with these filters? Are they Good? I wrote to the company and they said that the filters are made by Champion, so are they repackaged Super Tech filters? Thoughts?

Thanks for all of the help fellas. I think that I'm gonna use BMW20W50 dino until 6,000miles then switch over to mobil 1 15W50. The BMW 20W50 synthetic is $9 per quart at my dealer !!! I'll let you know how it goes.
