    600 class sportbike...

Well I hit up the Kawasaki Dealer, sat on the 250R and it was like a glove... loved it.. $3300 out the door w/ tax and setup. I'll be picking it up friday or saturday. I also got a quote from my insurance agent and was frankly shocked... $160/yr for full coverage w/ $100 deductibles, I was...

    Macadamia oil

I've never even seen a bottle of macadamia oil, does the oil impart any taste into what you're cooking?

    600 class sportbike...

I'm looking for "fast enough", which I think the 250R would be. I'm no longer 18.. I don't need to be going 9,000 miles an hour all the time. and if I get tired of it after a season, I can buy a faster bike.

    600 class sportbike...

I'm completely ok with keeping a 250R for a season or 2 and then moving up as my skills come back (it has been 10 years) and improve (and build up more cash). Even at 33 I still suffer from testosterone poisoning from time to time and don't want to end splattering myself w/ more bike then I can...

    600 class sportbike...

Well I'm not planning on riding a 250R to sturgis... I'll check out the 500.. the 650R is more money than I really want to spend, but so is the SV650 (I don't want a loan)... basically any trips I'd take would be limited to the 2-4 hour range, which is all I have time for anyways. but who...

    600 class sportbike...

well it's been 10 years since I was doing all the stupid stuff on my KLX250 and my buddy's YZ250..(until I wrecked the KLX..) From everything I've read about the Ninja 250R suggests it's perfect for me, it's the motorcycle equivelent of my old MR2, light, relatively low powered, but incredibly...

    600 class sportbike...

perhaps I should have stated myself better... I'm open to anything not of the harley or goldwing types.. the SV650 definately has my interest, esp at it's price point (I could pay cash for one if I wanted to). I may tool over to the local 'zuki dealer and have a look. as for my size, I'm 6'...

    600 class sportbike...

or I should say on my buddy's YZ.. my old Kawasaki 250KDX was too heavy for good air, but man it's torque made it awesome in a pit..

    600 class sportbike...

I have to take the state required safety course to get my M endorsement.. I was figuring the 600 class would be fast enough to still be fun but not more than I could handle while I re-learn. The Suzuki SV650 looks interesting and is a bunch cheaper than the bikes I've been looking at. dirt...

    600 class sportbike...

I've been wanting to buy a 600 class sportbike for various reasons.. I've got a fair amount of riding experience but every last bit of it is in the dirt, so I don't know how much translates.. My question is what would be a good first 600 class crotch rocket? and no, HD type cruisers don't...

    Okay.....

That's like a buddy of mine's '01 Honda Valkrie.. he gets the same question... his response is always "I had one, it was too slow..."

GM..would you trust one to run how many miles?

so my little brother's hand-me down buick park ave is going to self destruct in less than 10k miles? it's a '95 with 240k and has no issues what so ever except for the broken cup-holder in the flip down console. car has zero rust either, which is amazing considering I live in Maine.

GM..would you trust one to run how many miles?

I still drive my '88 k2500 pickup every day, went through the motor because I wanted to (cam, headers, etc), not because I had to. it's on it's 3rd trans since I got it (the first rebuild grenaded in less than 3 weeks). No other major problems, any minor ones can be contributed to it being...

    700 Nitro Express

never mind... I didn't realize that the .700 was an '80's creation unlike the far older NE's

    700 Nitro Express

you know there's a reason a .50BMG say a barrett, weighs what it does, so the recoil doesn't kill you. A .700 nitro express (not that I've shot one) should have a easier to handle recoil due to the black powder.. it's much more of a shove than a WHACK. the nastiest rifle (for recoil) I've ever...

    Who swims?

I vastly prefer chlorinated pools over the brominated or "salted" ones. my ex-wife's aunt had a pool that used that "no chlorine" stuff... every time I swam there my skin would itch for a couple days after.. gave that up real quick.
