Car Battery Charger with Current Display?

I use a Schumacher "Ship N Shore" fully auto charger. It will charge 2/10/15 amps for regular, deep cycle and AGM/gel batteries. It can display both charging rate and battery percentage. I bought it nearly 12 years ago from Walmart and use it fairly often. It still works like a champ.

    Shortages.....

Lots of manufacturing and production lines are being shut down or severely delayed with entire shifts of employees having to quarantine. The rush and panic buying on those items doesn't help.

    used vehicle for daughter

My oldest turned 16 in October. I bought her a 2014 Kia Optima with just over 100K miles on it. Been a phenomenal car so far.

    Sirius XM

I canceled on them a while back. They are absolutely relentless in trying to get me to renew. The calls...the mail...the emails. It's borderline harrassment at this point. I've "unsubscribed" a ½ dozen times. I still get no less than a piece of mail every other day and an email nearly everyday...

How much can you bench press?

17 years ago...305 lbs was the heaviest single rep I could manage. Not sure I could even do it now. I'm 43 now and I'm still fairly stout (for my age)...but I doubt I could bench anywhere close to what I used to. I'm 6ft and 220 lbs...still can get into 33" waist jeans.

    2016 Volvo parasitic drain

A quick internet search shows that the low battery warning seems to be fairly common on a V60. Might be worth your time to research the possible causes.

    Brake fluid change!??

Whoever said my experience was a "recommendation"? Whoever said my experiences were luck? You're certainly entitled to your opinion. Keep in mind, I have nearly 15 years as an automotive service professional...and about twice as long as a hobbyist. I know a bit about it.

Fuel Injector O-Rings - Lube or No?

X2 on motor oil...or ATF. Never dry fit them.

Do you ever buy non top tier gas when top tier is available?

I used to go wherever I was needed for the 1st company I hauled for. We had terminals all over the Southeast...and they paid a guarantee of $400/day to work out of town if/when you were needed. Unfortunately, when the pandemic first came and everybody was staying at home, gasoline went to a very...

    Brake fluid change!??

Yep...and I've seen transmissions and engines fail before 100K miles that were serviced regularly per the manufacturer recommendations. Who's to say what's a good idea or not. Do what works for you...and so will I.

Frustrated By Heavily Oxidized Headlights? Here's What Worked

That's how they look after 5 years of me sanding and reclearing them. Of course they aren't perfect, but they still look better than OE lenses when the car was 5 years old. And no...they're not as "cloudy" as they appeared in that picture...you're seeing the reflection of an overcast sky above.

Do you ever buy non top tier gas when top tier is available?

I can pull from Kinder Morgan in 6 different regions. I also have credentials for TransMontaigne, Megellan, Buckeye, and Vecenergy terminals. What's strange is that I can get BP from KM in Athens, GA...but if I go to Spartanburg, SC...I have to get it from TransMontaigne. Product lists vary from...

Do you ever buy non top tier gas when top tier is available?

No...Georgia. I pull product from terminals all throughout the Southeast. There are several cities that have terminals that distribute multiple suppliers/brands of fuel. Then there are some cities where certain brands have their own terminal. In Doraville, GA (north of Atlanta), Motiva has 2...

    Brake fluid change!??

For what it's worth, I've driven several vehicles well beyond 200K miles...and a couple past 300K miles and never changed the brake fluid in any of them. Never had any issues.

Do you ever buy non top tier gas when top tier is available?

It's obviously not like that everywhere. I load, haul, and deliver Shell gas fairly regularly. Our local terminal has several additive tanks with their brand contents labeled on them. Shell has one....as well as BP, ExxonMobil, Marathon, ConocoPhillips, etc. When I pull for a Shell branded...

Do you ever buy non top tier gas when top tier is available?

We run gas from our local Kroger 95% of the time...never had an issue or below par fuel mileage using it. The Kroger stores around here all get Trafigura...a non TT, unmarketed gasoline that meets the federal requirements.

    Tool Storage In Unheated Space

My tools have always been stored in an unheated space and I've never had rust issues on anything...not even the handful of cheap tools I have. Never used any type of rust inhibitor product on them. Georgia has a lot of humidity about 2/3 to 3/4 of the year.
