2 dealerships within 10 miles of me. 0 Corollas of any trim level in stock.
Within the same radius you can get Elantras and Sentras in every trim level.
The Nautilus is an interesting consideration. That's a gussied up Ford Edge correct?
As long as it doesn't share mechanicals with the latest Explorer ... that seems to be a disaster.
As of 2022 looks like most active safety features weren't very good.
I'm guessing warning systems like rear cross traffic alerts are more useful than active collision/braking avoidance.
Haven't been able to locate much on comparison of different brands except several year-old YouTubes of...
Wished I would have qualified this topic in the context of purchasing a new Nissan.
Of course a used, poorly maintained vehicle is going to be risky for most brands.

Can't yet wrap my head around it.
Subcompact Chevys, e.g. Trax & Trailblazers, Ford Escape, Nissan Rogue?
What's the logic ... I'm not seeing stellar mpg from these subcompacts and compact SUV's?

I don't know what to think.
Mentioned in another thread we had a 4x4 Compass as a company vehicle. It proofed to be at least as reliable as the other domestic vehicles we had. >100k miles without any failures ... just regular maintenance.
I expected pure junk, but it served us well.
