Will Predator engines be $99 again ?

I don't think it's fair to mark an entire generation as a whole as being an issue. I'm a "millennial" and do not know anyone (in my age group) who isn't a hard worker and doesn't deserve what they are paid. My wife is a nurse practitioner. With two kids, that was incredibly hard for her to go...

Favorite TV show filmed/ produced in Canada?

My kids love Dino Dana. For me, Schitts Creek, Letterkenny, and dare I say- various seasons of Love it or List it.

    Cremation Ashes

I grew up with my cat. He was 20. Paying the $100 or so for a good urn and having his ashes was a very easy decision. Now he's on my built-in where I can "see" him every day.

Just my thought process lol. To me, it doesnt smell like oil, almost sour. Just odd to me so I never used it regularly.

I haven't thought of using Wal-Mart's oil for my daily drivers, IMO, it smells so terrible I assumed its not the best. I do use it in my project cars though. What do you guys think of high silver? The motor is definitely broken in by now, and it gets plenty of revs.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is ST oil? I change it around 4k because of the GDI. It smells and looks terrible. Book calls for 5k interval under "normal" droving anyway so i figure for my own peace of mind, I'll do ot every 4k. I did want to switch to a 30 weight and see how it does, but...

Hi-Ho Silver! Seems good but they suggested solder compound on the newer engine, but I've seen many new engines with 0. Cause for concern?

One stuck sliding pin on each caliper

I used silicone grease. I think there might be rust inside, all the boots are good and I can pull them back and see purple grease if that says anything. I'll have to rebuild them asap, brakes are working great for now.

    Brand matching

Of all my ocd, this is not one of them. I use whatever catches my eye at the time. Usually it's price-based. If I'm driving a Ford I'll get the OEM Motorcraft oil filters. They're cheap as Walmart brand.

    Brake Fluid Disposal

I put every used automotive chemical in an empty cat litter container and drop off at the dump. Antifreeze, brake fluid, oil, atf, maybe a grain or two of cat litter.

    Avalon V-6 mileage ?

What year is said Avalon? Roughly 22 for older, 27 for 2013+. Wildly depends on driving habits, outside temperature, ac usage, idling, mechanical condition etc

One stuck sliding pin on each caliper

Changed all brakes on my 2016 Caravan today because they have been "wobbling" so bad it makes a ton of noise. Well, besides the outer rear driver's brake pad, which was down to literally the backing plate, they were all 90%. It seems the pads were replaced but not the rotors. So anyways I...

E34's are some of the most reliable vehicles. The 2.5 I6 is rock solid, and very little of the German-specific electrical nightmares. I had many 89-94 525i, of course the manuals were more reliable as the autos were somewhat prone to "limp mode" any time the computer sensed some minor issue. The...

    What old SUV to buy

Might be moot at this point, but I'd say a second gen Explorer. Very reliable, strong torque with the 4.0 too.

    06 Infiniti M45 vs 09 Pontiac G6 GXP Sedan

Pontiac/gm has a lot of electrical issues. Generally I'd lean heavily towards the Infiniti. That's just from my own experience.

    Greatest idea I have

This is a very ambitious project. I had a 2014 with the 2.5. One of the most enjoyable cars to own, I loved driving it! Not sure how the electrics will work or how the fitment would be. But at least your list has the right #1 priority: "get money" 😄

New additions to the family 🪴

Looks great. The only thing that seems to grow here are tiger Lillies and Rhododendron, which neither last long. I'll have to try Hostas. Interestingly these can be found in the woods but not my garden/flowerbed area.
