Picked up same model mower with non working engine today. Deck is in mint condition. Pullcord is snapped so owner just put it in storage for years and sold it today to us. May swap pullcord over or do engine swap.

ah yes i didnt see the patch on the other handle. i got flux core gassless welder i could use maybe just slap some steel plates on? or rivet on aluminium sheets?

deck has a lot of rust on this push mower handle bracket is rusted through which is main problem. engine runs great. can it be fixed? pics attached

Push lawnmower with briggs 450 series engine got its first ever oil change today. Machine is 3 years old with little use. Used suction pump to remove oil and filled with screwfix no nonsense brand of sae30.

new filter will work fine. old filter is just better. even has that foam thing on the old filter forgot what its advantage was.

serviced someones car than they bought their own parts. original air filter in the car is the orange MANN filter , replacement a cheapo crosslands filter from eurocarparts. pictures say it all.

Kids been playing with it today. He just likes the sound of it revving up and down lol.

Chain didnt break it kept getting loose and falling off. These things are so cheap its not worth brothers time to repair it. New one works out to be 70 dollars.

I dont have any use for an actual chainsaw, at the moment my little kid plays with the motor he likes revving it up and pretends its a car (supervised of course). Lol

Brother has thrown away a chainsaw which has busted up chain blades. Iv salvaged the motor which works fine and removed the chain blade from it. What can this engine be used for? Is it for chainsaw only or can it do other things too? Leaf vacuum blower and hedge trimmer are things id like but...

Fired up the mower yesterday and it was behaving very well. Only did that revving up and down for about 5 seconds this time then was steady. Maybe its the high octane i used this time? Or the treated fuel from last time.

Used pressure washer yesterday after its been sitting for a year. Before i put it in storage i swapped the torch plug for a ngk. Couldnt believe how easy it was to start with just 2 pulls. Even seems to run a bit quieter which is odd.

How come some people like wpod dont get gummed up carb issues?
