Hi. My name is Brian and I am a motor oil hoarding addict.

A lot of people waste a lot of time sleeping while they could do something more productive, unbelievable!!

Lowest temp you can charge A/C?

Not sure if it is temporary, I was reading it is a combination of short supply because of covid (r410a has skyrocketed also) and r134a being phased out, I'm gonna wait until I need it and hope the price drops.

    Best ATF for 11 Tundra

I've done drain and fills with Maxlife ATF with no issue in our 11 Camry. The 4runner I've done 2 drain and fills with toyota ws. Not Toyota related but in my E150 van I've mixed Mercon V, Maxlife, Mobil 1 ATF and lubeguard red over the years and shifts fine with almost 270k miles.

$380 plus tax for a 30 lbs jug at the supply house, I remember Sam's club had them for around $70 a few years ago.

For those that advocate 10K miles OCI

I take this video as nothing more than a heads up from a toyota master technician, basically he has seen a pattern of extended OCIs mostly on 2.4l and 2.5l camrys with bad rings and cylinder walls, as someone who wants to keep cars for a long time I listen to an expert like him. Whether toyotas...

For those that advocate 10K miles OCI

I'm subscribed to his channel. He is the reason I'm going back to 5k OCI, he has a lot of good toyota videos.

Should I proactively replace my stock alternator at 200K miles?

I would replaced it, Ive had 4 alternators fail on our cars over the years, twice left me stranded. Last one failed in the van but i was able to limp home and replace it there. Reading some other answers here how some people never had to replace them makes me think that hot weather has something...

    2022 Sentra Oil Control System?

I vote for 5k miles interval. I've done yearly oil changes 8-9k miles on our Toyotas with good used oil analysis results however I will be switching to 5k miles interval from now on for peace of mind. I have watched a few videos of toyota master diagnostic technicians saying prolonged intervals...

Fram Ultra Synthetic Filter - Anyone have double gasket issues.

I had that happen to me with the Fram orange can when I first started doing my own oil changes, now I always check for gasket before installing a new spin on filter no matter what brand filter I use.

Shocks for the 4runner, Xreas are leaking more and becoming more noisy.

HVAC guys, advice on filters please chime in!

Yeah, never stack 1" filters to make up for the 4", you'll chocke the return air flow big time.
