you may want to check out Hotpoint. It is just a lower end GE with older designs. We have Hotpoint gas though but they have electric too. They are less expensive but older design reliable.

All of mine have Briggs motors. I have 4 lawn tractors and one is from 1977 and has never been apart with one spark plug change and a fuel line replaced. I have learned to rely on Briggs.

I use them in ally stuff. They now have a 4 year replacement battery. That's better than Walmart. Those are not 55 dollars.

i have a Ram and it has those gears and a Hemi. Pulls really strong and with my 5th wheel still gets 11mpg calculated. Rides very nice too. Have a 5.3 Yukon too that has only pulled a golf cart so no clue about its ability. For me it would be the Ram.
