Who makes the best IR thermometer gun ?

I just snagged a Raytek ST60 XB pistol-grip IR thermometer a couple of weeks ago based on this excellent advice. Quite a bit less expensive than the Flukes- unfortunately, they may be phasing out the Raytek line (?) and if so I would suspect profit/greed. It is a great tool. THANK YOU BITOG...

Legal Hypothetical - Rear Ended w/o Brake Lights

I've used hand signals on rare occasions even with brake lights functioning. Especially if there is a good possibility of the sun blinding the follower- e.g., where I used to live there was an east-west main street and I drove westbound in the evenings, having to make a right-hand turn a couple...

Anyone a fan of canned sardines?

I love sardines also. Great snack for lunch. I prefer the run-of-the-mill oil packing, no LC20 or Auto-RX. I usually eat 'em straight out of the can.

    How Did You Find BITOG?

IIRC I was researching on (gasp!) Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer and found this website which encouraged me to use the stuff for bicycle chains, crosscut shredders, ANYWHERE except in my vehicles! I was additionally interested in some AMSOIL products and found that Pablo lived only about 1/2...

My intent was to expand the pleats to reveal their contents; maybe there is an easier way to dismantle the filter proper, though some seem to do so on their own even while in service! I was impressed by how well this WIX filter seems to be built.

Well, you have a point, Mori. True, this is the very first filter I've cracked open, but the carbonaceous flecks I suspect are not typical.

    True expiry dates for medication

Yep, it definitely varies with type of drug. I would not use an antibiotic beyond the expiry date; however, opiates such as codeine, Percocet, etc. do not lose their potency with age IIRC and should be fine but that's just my opinion. Opiates are the one drug I would never throw out. As Eddie...
