Auto-Rx ???? What do you think?

Does "drive it like you stole it" mean to drive it really carefully so you don't get noticed and pulled over by the cops? or does it mean to drive agressively to keep the engine rpm's varying and engine hot?...and then get pulled over by the cops.

Best compact-midsize diesel cars available in US?

American's care about performance, that is why we don't want smaller engines like in Europe. It takes our bigger engine with higher hp and tq to haul around our bigger butts. In Europe, I saw very few obese people, and when I did, they started speaking "American".

I just put in FP3000 into my friends 2006 BMW 325 with about 40K miles. He has used it mainly for driving on the freeways of Southern California and long distance driving across states. Any mpg savings from early air filter change?

Let's assume: 1. a new filter is $30 2. 10% gas savings after 15k miles 3. $3.00 per gallon 4. car gets 25 mpg That same $30 can buy you 10 gallons = 250 miles = 2500 miles @ 10% savings. So changing an air filter too early does not save you much money at all.

    Manual transmission "snobs"?

I remember reading somewhere that he makers of DSG said that they will have some huge market share in just a few years. Perhaps DSG can be considered "manual" since there is a clutch but it is computer controlled. Do you consider the F1 paddle shifters with robotic clutches to be a "manual...

Does anyone use trueflow air filters? Opinions?

Foam does not filter as well as paper, fact. http://home.stny.rr.com/jbplock/ISO5011/SPICER.htm Uni makes the filters for TrueFlow. So you can compare the Uni results in the above test to the paper filters in terms of dust capacity and filtration efficiency.
