Is my car a short tripper?

No 24,000 miles. Bought it one year ago at 13,500 miles. Was inquiring about my current driving routine.

Is my car a short tripper?

Bought it a year ago. Not 100% sure of prior owner's habits but it was only at 13,500 when I bought it. In the year I've had it I've driven just over 10K miles. Car indeed has 24,000 total on it.

Is my car a short tripper?

2014 Accord V6 - low mileage with only 24,000 on the odometer. Drive to work is about 3 miles/10 minutes, I work 5 days a week. Drive to my girlfriend's house is 10 miles/20 minutes, go there 3-4 times a week. I live on an island so no truly long trips, so going to the other side is 30...

Microgard Select vs Purolator One/Boss - Which better suits my situation?

Yeah that was my rationale for choosing the microgard select over the Boss. Boss has high capacity low efficiency. Fram Endurance good on paper but read enough about quality control issues with them to go another direction.

Microgard Select vs Purolator One/Boss - Which better suits my situation?

Thanks went ahead and bought a Microgard Select good easy option as I have an O'Reilly's near me.

Microgard Select vs Purolator One/Boss - Which better suits my situation?

Careful with that kind of talk LOL. Keeping things simple and not overthinking things is frowned upon in these forums from what I've seen. Seriously though, mildly concerned by how many people bag on Fram filters with the wavy pleats or whatever. Oil wise I don't mind spending an extra $20 a...

Microgard Select vs Purolator One/Boss - Which better suits my situation?

My understanding is you generally need to sacrifice efficiency to gain capacity, and if I'm going to carry over the filter for two OCI's then I'm going to lose out on some efficiency. Maybe the Purolator One would be good in that sense as I understand it has better efficiency than the Boss.

Microgard Select vs Purolator One/Boss - Which better suits my situation?

Hello all. Relative newbie and non expert here with some earnest questions about my oil change routine going forward. My car is a 2014 V6 Accord coupe with just 24,000 miles on it and in very good condition. It's a manual transmission vehicle so thankfully it's not burdened with any of the...

    Downsizing my Fleet

Hey it was a 2013. Awesome car. Didn’t know there was a 200T. I loved the engine/tranny combo with the. V6. Mileage wasn’t too bad 23mpg mixed driving. Never would have sold it but lost it in an accident

    Downsizing my Fleet

Just sold the 2012 CRV my dad was driving (he's finally too old at 90 to be trusted even over short distances). Kind of sad to see it go it was a nice little rig, but I'm happy for the new owner. I'll be carting the old man around in my Accord 2 door from now on. P.S. hold on to that GS. I...

2012 CRV low idle IN DRIVE - any other things I can try?

UPDATE: I dumped some Techron in there and drove it hard for a little while. No discernible difference but didn't get to the bottom of the tank. Got lucky and found a buyer with reasonable expectations and got a not great but fair price for the car.

2012 CRV low idle IN DRIVE - any other things I can try?

So I'm selling my 2012 CRV and I'd like it to present well and run well for the next owner. Car is at 107,000 miles and runs like a champ. No oil burning or other engine problems. Idle is noticeably low when in drive and at a stop, and seems to be slowly getting worse over time (currently...

    Uh Oh. Issues with paint?

I sold my white 2015 Camry because of this. Didn't know it was an issue for Toyota but I found out it's quite prevalent. . Apparently it's not just Toyo.

What car or cars would you like to see made again

Yes I think the V6 is a great compromise between 4 and 8 cylinders for good power and reasonable efficiency. My 2014 Accord Coupe V6 manual is fun to zoom around in, but it does not qualify as being small. Handles poorly with that big engine out in front of the car.

    2014 Honda CRV

My buddy has a 2017 it’s peppier than mine but it does have the steering weirdness. Mine is very dull but gets the job done. I’ll miss it.

    2014 Honda CRV

2015+ had the CVT and steering issues. 2014 and earlier had regular 5 speed transmissions and didn't have the steering issues like the next gen did. I think the pre 2015's are more desirable for these and other reasons. I'm selling my 2012 currently and will be genuinely happy for whoever...

    2014 Honda CRV

Solid car. I have a 2012 with the same engine/transmission. The car has no character whatsoever and I refuse to believe it has 190 horsepower. The transmission is dull and slow shifting so the car is a very boring drive but who cares? Mine's at 107,000 no engine problems just bad back...
