Just when you think you've seen it all at Walmart....

There may be a market for people who can't afford a car but like to read UOAs. Buy used oil and send it in--save thousands on all the extraneous expenses like insurance, gas,

Can anyone identify the case Kasey Musgraves is driving in the Justified video?

. Clues: antenna on Driver side a-pillar; it appears to be a wagon, four round dials on dash; there's a rear door "vent" window; headrests are not Volvo-like; steering wheel does not appear to have an airbag.

What was your (reasonable) dream car as a teen?

67-68 Mustang with a four speed and a 390. Fastback. Looked great to my eyes then and still does now. Sadly still just as unaffordable to me now as it was in junior high.

What is the value of being the original owner of a car?

In deciding whether to put a major expense into a car, what is the value of being the original owner of a car and keeping it, as opposed to buying a used car? If you're the original owner, you generally know every thing about the car's maintenance, something you can never be 100% confident about...

    Cadillac Escalade as a Collectible

It's always hard to say what will be collectible in the future. Since they are badge-engineered Suburbans, I don't think they will have the same cache as the 60s Cadillacs, which had a stronger brand identity. Who would have thought that Volkswagen microbuses, which are so slow they can hardly...

Preparing a leaky car for a rainy day

I have not had time. I damaged the rocker panel hitting a rock, and suspect that the drain may have gotten pinched or broken. I am going to leave it to the body shop guy. In light rain, it doesn't leak, so if I make it through Irma downpour scheduled to hit here tomorrow, I should be okay.

Preparing a leaky car for a rainy day

The last three heavy downpours, my car has developed a wet carpet on the passenger side. I plan on having a body shop diagnose the leak after Labor Day. The body guy thought it might be a clogged drain from the sunroof. The forecast is for heavy rains the next couple of days. I don't have a...

Valvoline Premium Blue One Solution Gen2

So I put a gallon of Valvoline Premium Blue in my 2012 Acura TL 3.7 and some 200 miles later, it is running better than ever. Annoying ticking noise has quieted down. Looking for other experiences with this oil in gasoline engines.
