    i'm about to do my 3rd oil change on my new 4Runner with 2,000 miles on the clock. and their is nothing you oil nerds can do to stop me. 15W-40 T6 is the flavor of choice. will inform back when the engine blows up and Toyota denies my warranty.

    i run motorcycle, castrol go 20W-50 jaso ma2 oil in my 1275cc classic mini. these little sump sharing 4 bangers need all the thickies in order to stay alive.

    castrol edge 10W-30 has my vote. 6% noack 🥰 tbh i'd run whatever makes me feel cozy at night. if you think the 0W-30 is a better choice then run that.

    i will happily cause "more wear" in my vehicles cuz i'm a psycho like that. changing at 5k or 6 mo. i don't care what the manufacturers recommend. there "recommendation" is just that... it doesn't say "REQUIRED" for fun i dumped the oil in my new 4Runner at 250 miles, then again at 1000 miles...

    1GR-FE in US specs for 0W-20 while the rest of the world you can use 10W-30, 15W-40 and even 20W-50.
