You people worry way too much about oil!

That engine is tough. It's a H4 boxer engine, not a I4. Put in a quality 10W-40. My '92 EJ22 called for this as factory spec.

Stock Steel Vs Stock Aluminum Wheels

Aluminum as they weigh less and this has its advantages. Steel wheels are better for off roading and in more harsh severe atmospheres as they can take abuse better and are probably a bit more stronger.

Where to get a 02-06 Lexus ES300 pass. side mirror

I need to source a passenger side mirror for a 2003 Lexus ES300. My neighbor hit a mailbox and cracked the housing. The mirror is fine and works but the housing is crumbling. Can I just get a new housing and keep the older mirror with wires and electric motor or do I need a whole new assembly...

    New brakes for Mercedes-Benz C230

OEM if you are satisfied with the performance and price. If you choose to save a little, I have heard that Akebono Euro Ceramic Pads and Zimmerman rotors are great.

    Centric rotors

I would buy the Centric premium that start with part # 120.xxx. The economy line are white box blanks that are probably similar to quality of other white box rotors including the made in china stuff.

    08 Infiniti G35 air filter times 2

OEM or Beck Arnley which are usually made by the same manufacture as the Nissan filter. Check RockAuto, use a promo code and then compare to Amazon's price.

You need to wash it off before waxing, I would then polish and apply wax.

RedLine SI-1 and Amsoil have both made people feel results compared to others.

    Honda Accord overheating problem.

Completely off topic but thumbs up to the vehicle in your sig. V6 5-Speed Manual Camry's are few and far in between.

    PS Additive to recondition seals

GM PS Fluid is clear because it has no dye in it to make it look red. The best thing to do is drive the vehicle more often and bring it up to temperature on weekends and change all fluids on it more often. Bringing the fluid up to temperature will allow the additives inside keep the seals...

Washed my car today after work.

Most detail guys aren't detail oriented and wouldn't waste time wiping down cracks and crannies like I do on my car. They just buff the cars, giving it a temporary shinny appearance for a few days and that's it. I use nice products, expensive washes, polish's and wax's.

Washed my car today after work.

It's an idea. The labor put into this is time intensive and I doubt someone would be willing to pay for such long hours.

    PS Additive to recondition seals

Does your car take atf or ps fluid? Amsoii, RedLine, and M1 are really good. You can siphon some out with a turkey baster, drive for a week and then repeat a few more times when your concentration of new fluid reaches close to 100%.

    PS Additive to recondition seals

I'm not sure anything will aid your seals if you're not bringing it up to temperature. Auto-RX has worked for many but I would stick to a full synthetic fluid in that system to help keep the seals pliable, clean out the system build up and maintain the higher tolerances versus non-synthetic...

New to us 2006 Toyota Avalon.

I already fully detailed the car on the inside and outside with vacuuming, removing any stains on the carpet and plastic trim, cleaning all trim on the inside, washing, polishing and treating all windows to Rain X on the outside. Spent two days doing everything but it was well worth it when I...

New to us 2006 Toyota Avalon.

I already replaced the engine air filter and cabin filter. Rear brakes were replaced by original owner at Toyota less than 2k miles ago. There is a shimmy in the steering wheel when braking due to somewhat warped front rotors. There is still about 40% pad left but I'll go ahead replace...

New to us 2006 Toyota Avalon.

The car is fairly powerful posting 280hp on premium and 268hp on regular gas. It has a very smooth and floaty ride and is indeed a pleasure to drive on the highway with an EPA mileage of 31 hwy. The car has 80k miles on it but comes with a Toyota Platinum Extra Care Warranty until 100k miles...
