    Same experience here, but mine start shifting very differently when below 40. I changed fluid and reset transmission learning before winter comes. Dirty fluid/low fluid seems to be the culprit.

    Maybe reduce the 5g AP broadcast strength furthur so PC would pick 2.4G? Do you have separate SSID for 5G and 2.5G? What if we forget the 5G network so PC can't auto connect?

    I would use Valvoline EP HM 5W30, feels very smooth. No need for RP since it's new and in my case RP didn't bring a good experience even in 30 grade. 3500 mi is good since theta 2 GDI is tough on oil.

    Get it returned and pick a different tyre. I have the same experience, no one on TireRack except me experience the unusual road noise. I decided to keep it and for a year I got bothered by the tire noise, until it get slashed one night. Don't torture yourself.

    Not your fault OP, it's overtightened filter from factory. Big chunk of metal will stay in filter, so everything is good.

    I’m concerned if the added clutch means now the e-Cvt has a wear item in it and require regular fluid service. The planetary gears are very robust even when neglected.

    IMO first oil change should have an extra short interval to get rid of most wear-in metals, you did the right thing.
