Is that the exploded 3800 V6 plastic intake?

They can definitely be noisy cold. IIRC, there was even a coated piston released to be used in the number 6 position because of complaints. My Dad has one ('96 3100 V6) with 340k that has always been noisy when cold too.

The 3100 V6 came with platinum plugs from the factory in '96. There is a warning on the emission control sticker to not remove them when the engine is hot. I've not noticed any change in performance either time I've replaced them.

My incident accompanied a hair straitening for a family picture. Fortunately, I was never subjected to that again. I finally got smart enough to wear it as an afro in my early teens. I'd love to have that hair back instead of the opposite!

They retained the 105A CS130 for the '96 models (last year of this body).

Replaced the radiator ('92 Century) (great deal from Amazon) and the short, silicone, 3/4" hose between the heater return pipes over top the exhaust cross over. I'll reinstall the fan after I'm positive the twin transmission cooler pipes aren't leaking at the fittings. Good weather and wanted to...
