Usually it takes me less than half an hour to replace a wheel bearing - it's not rockt science, you can do it yourself.
Maybe watch a few YT videos before, if it is your first time.
It's not my opinion, I just quoted that Wikipedia article,
and it it says, made of "entirely of polyalphaolefinic or dicarboxylic acid ester base oils "
It always makes me wonder, that the SD card in my dash cam - which gets constant data writing since years now - never failed.
I expected it to replace it maybe once a year, but it still works after 4+ year.

To call an oil synthetic (vollsynthetisch) here in Germany, it must be 100% group 4 oils.
If it is a blend with group 3 oils it is called "teilsynthetisch" (part-synthetic) or some marketing speak like...

Since I don't let my workstations come even close to an internet connection, I have a - maybe 15-20 year old PC (AMD -stripped down WIN 10) just for internet stuff - still works fine.
The DHU should be shut down. They are car and personal mobility haters to the bone - it's like a cult.
They already did massive damage here in Germany with their bogus claims, that cost us billions.
I had a similar experience - a wheel spacer broke and fall off - studs sheered, and if that was not enough, the wheel almost hit an other car and than rolled into a river.
Needless to say, I had better days before - thanks god, I was already pretty slow at that point (just got off the Autobahn)...
