I wanted to post this on the Shell Rotella Gas Truck synthetic engine oil Q&A if a Moderator would oblige. Found it at Wally World and it is competitively priced as they said it would be. They have it at eye level too!

Its the new 75W25 high milage. 75% water 25% hm oil

Ford 5.0 calls for 5w20 but pennzoil is reccomending 5w30. I know it wont hurt, just wondering if they did this for a reason because im running their 5w20...

Im not fishing or trying to bash chevy. I asked a question in my first post and its branched out onto several other topics. I just dont like the fact every time I look at it something needs repaired/replaced so yeah i aint happy about it. But i want to stay on top of things so it doesnt fall...

I wanted to throw this out there. Something I have heard mentioned a few times elsewhere is that changing oil yourself will void your warranty. The writing states to keep your vehicle in warranty, the work has to be done by a qualified mechanic. Yeah its just a oil change and who can mess that...

Yeah well I looked. I even give some time on here to no avail. Either way, it seems to be doing great in my truck. I have no complaints.

I have also read amsoil recommendations changing first fill at 10k becose of my previous statement.
