Didn't realize this was an LL-04 oil when I bought it during the Autozone clearance. I already do short OCIs (6K miles) on my wife's 04 530i with the M54 engine. Do you think there would be any problem using this oil with low TBN (7) for the 6K OCI?

Wife's 2004 530i with the M54 engine gets any LL-01 oil I find on sale. That has ranged from Motul to Castrol to Mobil 1 to Pennzoil. 6K OCIs.

I'm with I'veBeenRued, put Mobil 1 15w-50 in my Scag Freedom Z with the ZT-2800 transaxles.

I use a little anti-seize on the NGK plugs I put in my wife's 530i. Just changed them recently and no issues with removing the old plugs. They must have had gorillas installing the plugs that broke.

I've had Mobil 1 TDT 5w-40 in the 26hp Briggs ELS engine on my Scag zero turn since the first oil change in 2007.

Bought a Scag Freedom Z with 26-hp Briggs ELS in 2007. Best $5,000 I ever spent. Cut my mowing time on my 2.5 acres from 4 hours with a Craftsman lawn tractor to 2 hours with the Scag.

I'm glad some of you guys have had good luck with Kumhos. Personally, I have had two out-of-round Kumhos and my tire dealer shipped all his Kumhos back and said he'd never sell another one.
