6000h service on a L120H which includes a valve adjustment. Has do be done every 2000h hours on these Deutz engines. Good thing the new L120H gets the new Volvo D8M so it only has to be done every 4000h.

What if it is Dexos oil? Will it be better than anything ever?

I do 6200miles because it is 10000km which is easy to keep track of in every car i own. Never had any issues. Doing 3000miles for me would be a oil change almost every month or two. Way too often. Oil here is 60-100 bucks for 5L

The 4.0 is also very under powered anchor more or less doing nothing, with pushrods and a design for like 1890. If it did not last on 10w30 i would be supriced.

I just use the high pressure washer on everything. Never broken anything. Use some degreaser too sometimes.

All diesel oil is black the second you pour it in. Everyone saying anything different is lying. (According to me, I change 100s of liter of diesel oil every month.)

Changed out some SHU 0W-30 ECT for Ravenol VST 5W-40, engine got a bit more quiet. Not has much chain noise. Changed out some Wix filter for a Mann HU719/6X. Staying with 5W-40 now.

Engines with a lot of chains, turbo and DI. A pushrod V8 won’t tax an oil that much.

Bought some filters and trying Ravenol for the first time. Everything is made in the EU too which is good.

you dont have a ice scraper? here the engine idle for like a min then we drive, letting something idle up to temp is horrible.

There is an oil called Rotorgear which is a SAE140, but is made for rotortilts on excavators.
