    Fleetguard FF63009 C&P

Nice! That's a NanoNet media filter...the best stuff you can get for fuel filtration in the marketplace hands down.

On the shelf oil filter life.

Cummins Filtration's policy is 3 years, but as long as you're keeping them in somewhat climate controlled conditions I wouldn't hold too fast to the 3 year mark.

Car Care Nut blames counterfeit oil filter for engine damage

Cummins seizes millions of dollars worth of counterfeit product coming out of Asia every single year...there's a big market out there for counterfeiters clearly. I think I've mentioned this elsewhere, but at least for Fleetguard products, we do NOT sell directly through online retailers like...

Who do filter makers get their steel from?

Our source for steel components are often aligned with many of the same steel producers for the automotive industry...that was part of the headaches that came along with the supply issues caused by COVID. When they scaled back for the auto industry, it put a hurting on everyone else in that...

    Fleetguard Coolant

From our Coolants & Chemicals product manager: The analysis I have on Cool Gard II is a few years old, but it does have an inorganic buffer, borate, (ES OAT does not) and it also contains silicate (ES OAT does not). They both are nitrite free and contain significant organic additive content...

    Beta ratio

Just stick with the OEM filter...worry about filter efficiency on passenger cars is somewhat pointless in my opinion. Those engines will never see the same type of duty cycles as a heavy-duty diesel application.

    Fleetguard Coolant

Donald, you're best bet is to use our cross reference doc here: https://cms.fleetguard.com/en_NA/literature/coolant-cross-reference-flyer/lt36262-new We don't carry a yellow OAT coolant today. Our ES Compleat OAT coolant is red, not that color matters anyway, but let me know if you want more...

FLEETWOOD LF16242 + BALDWIN B160 cut open , both are new

Very likely a purchased-finished filter. No filter company makes 100% of the filters they sell. It's common that we'll buy lower volume parts versus making them.

Bypass micron rating: How low to go?

Not sure about the lubricants side of things, but we definitely have had some of our NanoNet filters strip out fuel additives and lubricity enhancers from diesel fuels. Something to consider when you get down to the low single digits in micron ratings.

2021 Volvo VHD Triaxle with D13 has no Bypass Filter

Most of the newer truck engines utilize a single lube filter...on the Cummins engines (X12 & X15), those Fleetguard lube filters are designed as combo filters (technically they are considered full flow), but there are two distinct sections of media where about 40% is nanofiber for high...
