I meant the Restore and Protect. They seem to have optimized the fluid blend to yield a level of solubility capabilities that progressively cleans without blinding the filter. Solubility capability is based on a specific aniline point. This is just an opinion based on what I read.

I don't think the cleaning technology is new. I think Valvoline has done an excellent job of optimizing existing technologies based on documentation that is publicly available.
