    Slate EV Pickup

Well sure, I got my Volt without tax credit, but it made a big difference for the other three. You are right though, I really don't NEED such expensive vehicles :)

Havoline now in on the, "Protects up to..." maketing with the introduction of API SQ

Not sure, but this is the first pic I've seen of SQ oil in the wild. Haven't seen any at the parts store yet.

Drove both the Cybertruck and the Sierra EV... There is a clear winner!

Yeah, I think Cybertruck insurance is pretty bad. Insurance on my Prologue is already $280/mo. Not sure what we pay for insurance on the Equinox EV but I imagine it's about the same. I imagine Cybertruck will be quite a bit more. But, again, I have 2.5 years left, by then I think the Cybertruck...

    Slate EV Pickup

I agree that fleets are going to LOVE this thing. I still think as a daily driver for most people the $35K Equinox EV makes more sense than the $25K Slate. But that's just my opinion. Maybe I'm biased but a "traditional" interior with four doors and a nice infotainment and stereo system is worth...

    Slate EV Pickup

Meh, I get where you're coming from, but if it wasn't for incentives I would not be able to afford them. I used the $4K used EV credit once on a Bolt and the $7500 new credits on the 2024 Prologue and 2025 Equinox EV. So, I do appreciate it. I'd probably still be driving my gas 2010 Ford Escape...

Drove both the Cybertruck and the Sierra EV... There is a clear winner!

Sure, meanwhile the GMC dealer had a lot full of $100K ICE Sierras, Sierra EVs, and Hummer EVs, and the local Chevy & Cadillac has multiple Escalade IQs sitting there. But the Equinox EV? They sell within a couple days. We love ours, it's great for the price. So don't think I have an issue with...

Havoline now in on the, "Protects up to..." maketing with the introduction of API SQ

What a poorly designed, difficult to read graphic. Does that even meet accessibility requirements? When I build a website I have to run it through tools to ensure everything is readable so we don’t get sued. Does packaging have the same requirement?

Drove both the Cybertruck and the Sierra EV... There is a clear winner!

Yeah, I think all my $2K 90s Suburbans had rear HVAC controls 😂

Drove both the Cybertruck and the Sierra EV... There is a clear winner!

The Sierra EV was truly my dream truck. WAS being the operative word. I’m a huge GM fan boy and I have two GM EVs but it’s so sad for 100K on a fully loaded truck rear HVAC involves the driver digging around on the infotainment, and the Cybertruck just drives so incredibly well unlike anything...

I don’t know, there are many CTs in our area and I have yet to see a rusty one.

Drove both the Cybertruck and the Sierra EV... There is a clear winner!

When you’re driving it you aren’t seeing the outside much if at all, so don’t worry.

They’d sell every one they could make!

Drove both the Cybertruck and the Sierra EV... There is a clear winner!

I drove a new Sierra EV Denali Max Range and a 2024 Cybertruck AWD with 9K miles on it back to back, and holy cow, Tesla is just miles ahead of GM when it comes to driving the vehicle and value per dollar. The Sierra EV has a bigger battery so if you're towing, it's the one to get, but...

    2024 Honda Accord rental review

I'm sure it doesn't. They have it disabled on all of their EVs. Except the Prologue which is really a GM EV but Honda had them enable it. That's why I got one. I think the only other modern GM EV with CarPlay/Android Auto is the Silverado EV WT (work truck trim) but the RST (consumer trim) has...

    Crown Vic P7B...a good buy?

I have owned several Vics and they are iconic. But I could never go back to a gas vehicle after going EV. You’re going to miss your EV every time you choose not to drive it.

How come ac lifespan is so short on cars?

Do you think this is better in EVs? It’s an electric compressor. On both of our cars it has a heat pump system so whether you’re heating or cooling you’re using the compressor. Or is it just more likely to wear out sooner?

    2024 Honda Accord rental review

Hey our 2025 Equinox EV doesn’t have it at all. Annoying!

Another change or wait road trip question

Why not change it now? Compared to the cost of fuel to drive 3500 miles, a $50 oil change is really insignificant, plus it'll make you feel better. Personally, I'd do the oil change a few days before you leave. Just in case you make any mistake during your oil change. Not saying it's likely...

    Lease price increase partway through?

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to that. But CA has nice weather and my family is here so what choice do I have?

    Lease price increase partway through?

Thank you all, I realized what it was... local tax rate went up. Base price stayed the same but the base lease price is taxed and the total is the lease payment.
