    Doesn't look bad for a 19-year-old car

I feel like rust is going to kill this thing... I tried to take care of the majority of the rust. Applied a layer of wax and two "layers" of spray wax before it gets too cold and starts to snow. I heard nail polish remover can "remove" rust permanently?

Oh I have front liners. I don't have any rear liners.

If I recall, it was in a minor front accident. Hence why the passenger side headlight looks new vs the driver's side. Also, the front bumper was replaced. I looked on carparts.com, don't see rear wheel well liners for a 2006 Accord.

Weird, mine didn't have anything. Fronts have plastic liners

    Doesn't look bad for a 19-year-old car

Nope, not burning a drop of oil. Trans fluid was changed at 117k miles. PCM was recently replaced by Honda. Pads and rotors all the way around have a decent life left on them. Tires are 4-year-old Michelin. My mechanic looked at the suspension and said everything looked fine. Timing belt (and...

    Doesn't look bad for a 19-year-old car

Well, P.O. had been using Valvoline max life HM full synthetic 5w-20. I was going to go with supertech 5w-20 full synthetic. Idk if I should continue using high mileage oil or full synthetic will be okay.

    Doesn't look bad for a 19-year-old car

Yup, I was surprised when I found out the wheel wells weren't felt lined or plastic. So, under coating it was. There's a hole inside the driver's side wheel well. Might just fill it up with foam and call it a day

    Doesn't look bad for a 19-year-old car

Well, I picked this thing up 2~ weeks ago—a 2006 Honda Accord ex v6 w/122k miles. Had the typical Honda rust spots fixed (both rear quarters panels. Had them cut the old rusted metal and weld new metal. Had a little rust on the hood. The Body shop sanded it down and Bondo. You can kinda tell if...

    Cloyes timing belt

Wassup guys? Just picked up a 2006 Accord EX V6 w/121k miles on it. How do I know if the timing belt has been done? P.O. said he has no idea on if it's been changed or not. Do y'all change the water pump at the same time or am I okay with doing just the belt, tensioner, etc? I was going to go...

I'll be looking at the car in person today. We'll see if the trunk is bent or not. If it is, let make sure it closes right and what have you

Would a PDR guy be able to get majority of this dent out?

We use a guy at our dealership. He's cheap but sometimes pushes the dent outwards. I mean, I don't really care for perfection.
