Hit a deer can it be fixed?

The fact that you're asking that question kind of answers it. This is more than switching out parts. Do you have the ability and tools to straighten or replace unibody parts and confirm factory alignment? If it was a grill and light and fender sure.

    Dog and Cats

Was your dog exposed to cats while at the rescue to see if she's cat friendly? I volunteer at a rescue and that's part of the procedure to tell adopters about the dog. There are probably 1000 videos on youtube on the subject, watch a few. Also it helps a lot to make introductions on neutral...

One of the nicer homes I have seen at this price point- $640k USD Seminole, TX

@GON, according to bestplaces.net: Anchorage - avg summer high 64f, avg winter low 7f, 79" snowfall, 126 sunny days a year. Seminole Tx- avg summer high 93f, winter low 28f, 7 " snowfall, 265 sunny days. It's just very interesting that you'd equally consider buying your long term house...

    Loitering Drones

A drone flying over your property going somewhere is one thing. A drone hovering above you and your property is cause for concern. From dronepilotgroundschool.com :

That's a thought provoking question but I can say with all certainty that even if Alaska had no property tax or state income tax and issued you firearms when you become a resident there's no way I'm spending my retirement years there.

Monday, June 2nd, 2025 - coincidence of several friends pets dying

Great. Something else to be concerned about. Very weird about the dogs dying on the same day.

You really think you listing where you live will cause 1 person to move there much less an infux? My guess is Utah.

$1500 CAN for PDR to fix a door?

4 years ago I put a small dent in the aluminum tailgate of my almost new truck. Almost $200 but it disappeared. Guy had to work for it, aluminum isn't easy to work.

I think this list answers my question above. Alaska and Texas being on the same list under consideration indicates that climate, geography, and physical location aren't major deciding factors on your domicile location.

Agree with the hassle but hate to see shoddy work not get called out.

    Towing and gear selection

The owner's manuals in the last few trucks I've had said that tow/haul is for towing heavy loads. You may not need to use it, what does your manual say?

    Ammo Feeding Problem

What can you tell when it's new and unfired as OP states? At what point do you start to think there might be a problem if it doesn't operate correctly? 200 rounds? 500?

Wow. We moved to Arizona to escape Pa winters, both kids were going to be here, and I liked John McCain. Kinda lame. @GON, are the political/governmental considerations more important than the physical location, geography, and climate?

The listing says no HOA. The roof color is part of the architectural plan of the house. Agree though.

    Oldest tool you regularly use?

My grandfather's Craftsman 10" table saw. It's a beast. Also some of his hand tools. And his Black & Decker router from the 50s

@GON, what are your top requirements for a desirable home? Just curious. Location doesn't seem to be high on the priority list. Wonder where the closest tree is to this Texas house?

    Tow Capacity w/ aftermarket Hitch

What an RV dealer in Canada is doing has little or nothing to do with what's legal in the US. Do some searching, in the US everything about towing capacity is based on the GVWR, GCWR, max hitch weight etc. as determined by the maker.

Beautiful. Love the silver spoke wheels and other parts.

    Tow Capacity w/ aftermarket Hitch

This comes up frequently on RV forums. Nothing you add to a vehicle will increase the tow rating of the vehicle as determined by the maker. A hitch rated for 5000 doesn’t magically raise the car’s rating from 3250 to 5000. He wants to tow at capacity so it doesn’t matter.
