me Awhy do ford guys hate chevys vise versa

Used to badmouth Ford all the time when I was driving my S-10. After it was gone I got a Ranger...go figure. Someone hit it on the head earllier...it is probably what your Dad drove and that is what you were used to...at least that was the way it happened for me. But with how fantastic my S-10...

best pickup of the 90s overall

Had a 1991 S-10 that I had to painfully get rid of due to rust issues. Had over 250,000 miles on it and rarely an issue. Had the original trans fluid in it and still shifted perfectly. Engine was the 4.3 (which was the same as the 350 with 2 of the cylinders cut off) Super easy to work on and...

    '07 Honda Odyssey 1st drain & fill

Here is a very nice write up on the 2007 Odyssey. http://www.odyclub.com/forums/14-periodi...f-z1-fluid.html I have a 2008 Odyssey and have no desire to mess around with the cooler lines so I did a 4x flush through the drain plug in the pan.

I am becoming one of the oil hoarders

As rjacket said, your stock up prices are way too high. I am pushing 100 or so quarts of a variety of different oils. Some I got for free and the ones I had to pay for were always less than $2 a quart. And yeah, 100 quarts is too much!

If you are close to an Advance Auto Parts You can get Castrol Mercon V for less than $4 a quart using a coupon code. It is one of the few ATF's that you can still use the coupon code on.. I used it on my 97 Ranger last year...used a Mityvac to suck as much fluid out as I could, replaced with...

I have never seen gallon jugs of Mercon V. I looked pretty extensively a few years ago when I changed out the fluid in my Ranger. You can still pick up Castrol Mercon V. for under 4$ a quart with coupon at Advance. It is one of the few atf's that you can still use the coupon on. I stocked up...
