Let the dealership change the oil/filter. There has been several reports of the Plastic housing breaking after the oil filter housing was redesigned in 2014. Chrysler may have have fixed the issue.

Have you already replaced the Fuel Pump Drive Modulator? It's a common issue with the F150. Just take a look at it to check if it is corroded. It's mounted on the frame crossmember above the spare tire.
