I had some great meals in France. The key is to stay away from places like Paris. Eat where the regulars eat. I was in the countryside and ate with commoners.

If I shared some of the stuff that I have eaten so far today certain people here would beat on me. 😯 So I will keep it to myself 😑

I used to burn Osage Orange in an airtight stove. When burning it could be dangerous to open the door because of sparks and popping.

Soak the next batch in gasoline overnight...... :LOL:

I had a air cooled Kawasaki that would do that. I switched to premium gas and idled it a bit before shutting down to correct the problem.

I used to run some plain old thick STP in my VW Beetle when it got up in mileage. One day the oil pump went out. I drove it slowly several miles home with no oil pressure. New pump and everything back to normal with no ill effect. I think the STP saved the engine.

Same here. I went to an air show at what was Martins State Airport. Too much risky stuff. Never went back. A few years later a stealth plane from a show there went down into the parking lot of a nearby marina that was straight off the runway. Lucky no one killed.
