Great looking GS!

They have been great so far. Unfortunately, only minor snow storms since they were installed but so far so good (y). Very quiet and predictable handling.

I got the Mobil 1 Euro 5w40 for $5 a jug. I bought 20+ of them when they had a sale at Walmart :LOL::LOL:

I would definitely keep using the Valvoline Restore and Protect and do a piston soak too. Berrymans B12 does a good job. I've done this on both the Corolla's and it has helped with the minor oil consumption that I was having. Good luck (y)

I run Mobil 1 Euro 5w40 in ours, since new. The 23' now has 23k on it. 6k OCI on this wrx.

Wish every filter had hole in the center tube like those (y)

That is on my list for sure. I have the PPQ .22 and the FN 502 Tactical so far and they have been great. Love the little .22 plinkers (y)

Looks good. I also have Valvoline Restore and Protect in the 08' Corolla and the 09' Matrix. Both have around 3500 miles on the OCI and I'll probably run them to 5k'ish. My 08' looked sililar to yours when I did the gasket a few years back. I check it again after about 4 of the Valvoline Restore...
