Picked up a 25' MY. The 2.5L is adequate and the CVT seems decent so far. I like that they use a decent size fuel tank in these. That was our biggest complaint for the CX-30 we had.

Well the new HPFP did not solve the problem. Regardless, at almost 200k, it was probably a good time to install a new one anyway. I picked up a Crank Position Sensor and put that in yesterday. Fingers crossed, but it's looking promising so far.

Gear oil for all my bike chains. Never had any problems.

On a side note rant... These arn't 70's muscle cars. I'm not a fan of them putting the white lettering of the tires on the outside sidewalls. Reminds me of old school BFG Radial TA's on a 70' Chevelle.

So we ended up trading the Crown for a 25' CT. The Crown was a great car but we live on a dirt road and it wasn't a good fit for our living conditions and the 21" wheels were getting beat. Now Rob had to make me mad after seeing that awesome color on the Forester... Now I wish I would have done...

I wouldn't trust a mechanic that says an inch over the fill lines is ok... I have two 09's with the same transmission. You want it warmed up and make sure it has been throuth the entire gear range on the shifter. Check it in Park, it should not be over the top line for the "hot" section.

I have the Jackson BH3 and the Yeswelder one that @cptbarkey mentioned. I use the Yeswelder one 95% of the time. Mig and Tig primarily.

I've run the redline complete fuel system treatment and a couple cans of B12 Chemtool on a few different tanks of fuel. I believe this should have cleaned it up if something was dirty in there.

That was another possible thing I was thinking, a leaking fuel injector.
