    washer fluid makes no sense

    Ok i have no experience with intense winters. But why dont you try putting few ml of glass cleaner fluid into the washer fluid, it might lower the freezing point. I do this for normal conditions, but i think this might help for winter conditions.

    The car is 2008 model... Last time i changed ATF 2 years - 1 month ago - in November 2011. When I changed the ATF, the odo was 97000 km. (I dont know the previous service history) The current odo is 123,000 km. And the transmission is a 4 speed auto, not CVT.
