I looked at my records and I didn't write down what brand of filter I used to replace the air filter that was in the car when I bought it. That was a mistake. I'll be putting a new filter in it this weekend, and while I'm at it I'll clean the MAF and double-check for leaks.

Just received the first oil analysis on my car. I purchased the car in 2005 with 101,000 miles on the odometer. I did the recommended Auto/RX treatment for cars with over 100,000 miles, then switched to Mobil 1 at about 114,000 miles. Here are the results of the analysis.

Ditto the Lincoln Mark VIII. Type F ATF is the recommended power steering fluid.
