Leaning toward the Michelin Defender 2's as I can get a pretty good deal on those. I've seen mixed reviews on their wet traction. Any thoughts/reviews on this tire in the New England area? Tire rep says it's a top of the line tire, and should handle well in all conditions except for heavy snow/ice.

How's the noise level with the Celsius 2?

Some reviews said the Celsius 2 is noisy. The 1st rep said he put those on his wife's accord and changed them to the Mastercrafts because she didn't like the noise.

What are your thoughts now that a bit more time has gone by? I'm looking at getting the Weatherpeaks or CC2's for a 2018 Chevy Equinox. Right now the Weatherpeaks have a nice $150 discount at Costco, but I'm not finding a lot of info on them.

Costco currently has a $150 discount on the Weatherpeaks. My only concern is that it's hard to find long-term reviews on them since they're new.

Has anyone tried the Bridgestone Weatherpeaks? Some reviews I've read say the performance is on par with the CCII, but the Weatherpeaks are quieter, a softer ride, and result in less MPG loss. Not sure if this is true.

Thanks for the detailed reply. Everything I read said the CC2 is a better tire than the Weatherready, so I'm guessing he has a lot of GY's to sell or something. The CC2's are actually in stock near me. With that being said, would you choose those or one of the others you listed?

That was my thought as well. That definitely sounded a little odd to me.
