Thoughts on Ford Taurus police interceptors?

Thoughts on Ford Taurus police interceptors?

Well, I need an excuse to talk myself out of this. Recently looked at how much my honda was worth if I sold it to CarMax and those types of dealers. The best offer I got was 21,500$, which is a LOT more than what I paid for it. While I love it to death (great gas mileage) I've been wanting to...

    The New Fram Ultra......

I guess ill be the guinea pig here. Currently have the old-style frame ultra on my car right now (2017 accord), my oil change will be around 53k miles (the car has 49k right now) I've got an early new style (A11681) of the new material. ill cut open the filters and see if the the new one...

    Running A Transmission Dry

Id fix it and fill it up, then if it still moves id go 100ish miles then change the fluid again (since it most likely picked up all the metal bits and clutch material) after that sell it on craigslist, or to Carmax :p

How does a 2006 Jetta do in the snow?

the 3 peak all season is a good compromise, but if your gonna be going there almost daily id consider getting some separate rims and dedicated snow tires. if not, id rather spend the money on good snow chains than cheap tires.

    Check it! new family cruiser

Yup, honestly thought they were gonna pull the "that's the way they all drive" excuse, but I'm glad the Toyota dealer and the techs actually fixed it!

    Check it! new family cruiser

Well, got some news... the 4runner developed a shimmy at around 60mph, the dealership ended up determining that the front right tire was defective (believe it was out of round) , and replaced it under warranty, after road forcing the wheels the shake is gone!

Keeping the rodents from eating my CAF

you could try putting poison pellets where they are chewing through, (ie the bottom of the cabin filter, I'm assuming) just be sure that the pellets are being sucked into the filter (if that makes sense) other than that, a wire mesh that's screwed in would work as well (if you can find a area...

How often to you upgrade Cell phones

I honestly wait till new "new" generation of phone gets released then buy the now "last" generation at a great discount. then keep it till I feel like I want something better, so every 4ish years. Got a really bad taste (pun intended) when apple did the whole "we slow down your phones after 6...

    Finally got a bike.......

My apologies, I must of mistaken xx1 as titanium (I remember a old video mentioning it, was later told wrong) It does however have a titanium COATING Looks like the all the 520 cassettes have a aluminum cog, just a different coating process (and slight manufacturing change as well)

    Finally got a bike.......

The top cog is aluminum, rest of the cassette is steel (why they do this i have no idea) Honestly, bike shop will probably tell you its user error and "blah blah blah, not our problem"

    Finally got a bike.......

That sucks, I've heard from some riders that the "lower-end" 12spd SRAM cassettes really suck as they make em razer thin and the top cassette is made of aluminum (vs titanium is the xx-1, or what i call the $$-1) personally, I'm running the 11spd sram (gx) on my Cannondale and haven't had an...
