    Which AMSOIL to use????

I've got an '04 Subaru Outback w/the 3.0 6 cyl. It calls for a 5W-30. Will using a 0W-20 hurt? The winters here aren't too horrible & the summers aren't too hot. Thanks.

    Marvel Mystery Oil Rocks!!

You guys use this stuff w/each fill-up or every x amount of miles?

    Lets talk about Lucas UCL

I've got a Subaru Outback wagon. It's got a "sack" on the fuel pump for a filter. The parts guy told me I should run an injector cleaner through it about every 6 months since the filter is pretty much non-replaceable (unless the fuel pump goes out, then the new fuel pump will have the new...

What kind of Soobie do you have? I've got an '04 OBW...L.L. Bean edition. I bought it used w/66xxx miles on it, but no previous service records. I just did a (almost) complete fluid change...PP, Amsoil ATF & diff fluid. I'll do the brake fluid exchange next year when I do the brakes & the PS...

I called the Subaru dealer (again!) & asked if the 50/50 was all he had. He stated he had some full-strength AF, but it was for the older cars...I assume it's the green stuff. He said the 50/50 was for the newer cars & it was blue & had the conditioners already pre-mixed into it. I may break...

    Silicates in a Japanese car.....

Thanks for the link. It sounds like what some of us Subaru owners wish to hear! :)

    Silicates in a Japanese car.....

While searching for an alternative to my Subaru today, I came across this. It specifically states "Asian Vehicles", as well as: Developed to meet the long life coolant specifications of Asian vehicles. * 5 year/150,000 Mile Guarantee * Recommended for all Asian Vehicles * Compatible with Asian...

Here's the Antifreeze I purchased (but not from Sear's). On the back it states "Warning: Contains ethylene glycol (107-21-1), diethyleve glycol (111-46-6), sodium 2-ethyl hexanoate (19766-89-3), and sodium neodecanoate (31548-27-3)". I assume that's what you meant by sodium 2-EHA? What's the...

    Filter for Subaru

I just purchased an oil filter at the dealer the other day. It was the black filter...the Tokyo Roki. It may be because I have the H6 engine, though. I didn't know if all their filters were being made by Honeywell or just the 4 cyl. versions.

    L14610 cut open

Since doing your flush have you noticed any difference as far as oil usage/leaks? The reason I ask is that i've heard that flushing/cleaning an engine could cause an adverse affect. I recently purchased an '04 Subaru OBW w/67K miles and an unknown previous service history. I'm getting ready to...
