If your dealer is a purebred KIA dealer they will use Total Quartz. If not, who knows w/o asking and make sure you do ... and inform us. What OCI are you shooting for?
I forgot to mention the most important part, OCI! My KIA Care Plan is 5k, I will schedule AT that time. They were booked 2 weeks out on Saturdays so it went 6xxx, but under 7.5k max. Not concerned
My 2019 2.4L Sorento calls for 5w-20 on the cap and the manual says either is fine. I will run 20 and it will be fine, if not it's 100,000 mile warranty will cover it. I will reap the benefits of 20 .... My preferred dealer puts in Total Quartz semi 5w-20, back-up dealer conventional 5w-30 and...

The D35 has been around for years... 85w-140 might save you some $$. Where do you live AL? Doubt it gets freezing down there to often.
The Wally stuff was under law suite over vis. issues a while back and the label now says "Recommended for".
Many of gears have spun many of miles on dino, 75w-140 is only really available in synthetic $$$$. With that said my D44s have Mobil1 75w-140, lol because I couldn't make up my mind. I think I was looking at 80w-90 at the time. Mobil1 was $16qt. ouch! Not sure I would do it again because of the...
