it says to do that in my mazda cx5 turbo owner's manual if you have been running at interstate speed, uphill etc....I try and remember but I usually forget. After driving at freeway speeds or up a long hill, trailer towing for a long time, idle the engine at least 30 seconds before stopping...

this is a humble brag...I do a 5 tire rotation every 3000 miles and at 68 yoa can still pop the 37 up to the spare location...I swap back and forth between sets so have become pretty efficient at it..it is all technique.

doing a google search it says this number would indicate a need for an oil change. my oil of choice says good for 20,000 miles and my milage minder says my oil was at 58%. I posted an analysis here...
