My vote is for a nice 4in ruger revolver gp100 in .357 mag. Best of both worlds. Cheap .38 special for shooting or wife if need be. Big banging expensive .357 mag for blasting when your more comfortable. Will last for ever and a great value.

Yeah I thought about the small sump size too. The better half got me the ultra as a gift. All she knew was I used pennzoil. She must of thought oooohhh, I'll get that expensive pennzoil one to impress him. Love that woman! Oh and the manual states 3000 severe/7500 normal.

Maybe a misunderstanding. I asked what you guys would suggest/opinion warranty aside. I said I'm changing the oil per the owners manual. Hence, no oil analysis do to short interval to really find out the max safe oci with this setup.
