    GR Corolla's engine is known to heatsoak on the track...some have reported 250F. I will be changing to Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30 with OEM N1 filter in my GRC at the next oil change.

    Can a dealer detect an oil change?

    While performing DIY oil change in both my Toyotas, i noticed torque check paint seal over the oil drain plug from previous dealership services. So, it is easy to dealers to tell if someone else had change the oil.

    Yes..Puroma is cheap china made cabin filter. i bought a 3 pack of Puroma activated carbon cabin filter a while back for less than $8 each and just replace them annually.

    Bought a recently Hamm&Co cabin filter from Amazon and returned it after a week. It performed about the same as Puroma cabin filter, but the Hamm&Co filter also emitted a faint chemical smell.

    Can you change the cap on 5 quart jugs to the type used by LiquiMoly with retractable pout spout? I have stopped ordering Pennzoil Ultra Platinum jugs because they frequently get delivered with oil leaking out of the loose cap.
