    Ok, so it's a noob question, but hey... I did do a search..

    I've got a bottle of the BMW oil right here in front of me. The only info that might be meaningful that I can see is that it is ACEA A3/B3 and API SJ/CF. I have had this bottle for probably a year, so things might have changed. It is a 5W-30.

    My '06 manual has no reference to use of only mineral oils. Maybe that no longer applies.

    Thanks for all the help, guys. I checked out the AZ on South Battlefield Blvd., and bought the 15 qts. of GREEN GC they had in stock. That will hold me for three changes. Thanks for the generous offer RDNK 4RE.

    '06 Infiniti G35 Coupe - 0w30 or 0W40?

    If you had an '06 G35 coupe and had to choose between Amsoil 0W30 2K and Mobil 1 0W40 European, which way would you go? Would the Amsoil be slightly on the light side for this engine, or not. Car is mostly a daily commuter, with very few weekly highway miles.
