Thanks. It’s not awful - maybe 1.5-2 quarts in 2,000 miles. Just a shame cause I’ve had cars with similar mileage that burn none I just wonder the consequences of using a diesel oil in a gas vehicle

OK clearly you didn’t read the thread. The car was quiet for at least 600 miles with the old oil. I changed it, and it started getting a little louder immediately after the change. I just took out that fresh oil this morning and put in quaker state and now it’s quiet again.
