    Borg warner t5 NWC

Well I put valvaline maxlife atf and BOY DID THAT THING WHINE! First through third it sounded like a super charger. It was really noisy at idle, but shifted nicely. I swapped out the fluid for lucas 80w90. That was the fluid the previous owner used. Lucas made all the gears quiet, and got rid...

    white smoke

spark plugs are new, havent looked at it since the job was done. It doesnt misfire on startup, it did BEFORE the job. It starts normally aside from the smoke. So instead of a leak down test just shoot air into the cylinder?

the smoke kinda lingers for a bit enough to go through a garage with haze. maybe about 5 seconds dissipation or longer. Engine runs fine. ...perhaps a leak down test

Not sure if this is the right section for this. My friends car, 2000 acura integra gsr recently got some work done. it was misfiring alot and had no compression on 2 cylinders. He got a shop to do the head and send the head out for work and every seal was replace (thats what they said). Now on...

Is there any other fluid you guys recommend? before I started auto-rx it shifted a bit better and was a little smoother. With auto rx it made it shift funny, and with this new fluid it...

    Question on brake pad dust

I think there is goods and bads with all pads. I think the trade-off is more brake dust better stoppin, but possibly more wear, where no brake dust (or very little) doesnt have the best stop power, but lasts the longest. IMO I use ceramic in all my cars, duralast golds because of the lifetime...
