This forum is a very small slice of life. The vast majority of people do not "work" on vehicles themselves. I used to change my own oil. I will be 70 this year. I'm not crawling underneath my Silverado-removing a skid plate and changing the oil. That ship has sailed. It's well worth the $100.00...

I am glad this thread was posted-it's been a little over a week since we have had one like it........or similar...or along the same lines. Everyone just do a search and "copy and paste" your last remarks.......saves from typing...especially on those small phone screens.....

A decent paint job now is very expensive. It's best to try to keep what you have looking good. And yes-I don't believe a $1,500.00 Ceramic coating is the best thing. Of course you could always "wrap" your vehicle. You still need a decent surface however.
