Doesn't this contradict the 0w-20 claim? "0w is better for cold starts since it flows better" or is this just advertisement jargon? I use Mobil 1 5W-30 on all my cars.
I do have a question that so far no one has replied to in some of the other oil blogs. On a 0w or 5w oil the oil flows better at the cooler temps. When the oil heats up it thickens. So when doing an oil change why not change the oil when it's cold and all the oil is drained out of the engine...
