I've read online that they are not that efficient. Some of them use electric heating for heat. I'm in NYC. I once used a little electric heater for a month, the electric bill was very high. I'm used to using ductless mini split, (they work great). With PTAC units, I'm kind of afraid of having an...
Yes exactly what I thought. I belive they put some kind of sealant on the threads at the factory. I think the hammering acting worked really well in breaking that seal. I've used the gun on really tight bolts that it wouldn't remove, that I ended up loosening with a ratchet.
It was a little different to come out. First I used a long snap on 1/2 breaker bar ratchet. It didn't budge. In fact the whole tank started to turn. Then I used a Milwaukee 3/8 impact gun. That got it out. Funny thing is that snap on breaker bar allows more loosening torque than the 3/8...

8000k miles I think was the longest interval. The majority of the oil changes for the past 100k or so miles were 6000k.
NP. I figured I'd give back to the bobistheoilguy community. You guys got me started with synthetic oil and blackstone uoa. (when I used to do them). Also all the oil changes were 6000 miles at minimum.
This is my fathers vehicle. I have been maintaining it since 65k miles.
Always using a quality motor oil. Penn platinum, M1 high mileage, Valvoline maxlife. Whatever is on sale.
