    MP3 tag editor?

MP3Tag is nice and open-source for one-by-one editing. Gives many fields options and compatiable with practically all (if not all) tag formats. Google for it or get it via Chocolatey Pkg Management. If you have a massive collection and want to at least start out with auto scanning and filling...

    Stupid laptop screen resolution.

Look at the newer Acers with the Intel B940 CPUs (Sandy Bridge). Can be had a little under 400 sometimes from Newegg (mailing list) or other sites that drop the price when NewEgg does. The difference in price between that and a used Core2 would be well worth it considering the boost in memory...

Cold engine noise with Amsoil 0w30 in a Toyota 3.5

I've used SSO in a 2AZ-FE (2003 Camry) and a GA16DE (1992 Sentra). Noticed a certain startup noise as well and more so in the older car when compared to 5W-30 Castrol GTX. Ended up dumping it way too early at 3k... Then I cleaned with Auto-Rx and I noticed a little less startup noise with the...

    2003 camry with issues...

I've got the same exact car. Went through 2 cycles of AutoRX and it doesn't leak or consume oil anymore using Amsoil SSO and a 14k OCI. Try it, you'll love the results.

    Magnefine leak, transmission damage?

I would go back to the shop that did it ASAP and try to get a warranty repair.

Would you use ARX, or just PP, skip ARX?

To answer your quesiton: If you had the funds, ARX is your best option IMO. If you don't, maybe two changes on a HM oil like Pennzoil or Castrol since they're about 13.50 for 5 quarts at WM, then move on to PP and change at 5-7k. Auto-Rx is MY holy grail to be honest. I've never seen a 160k...

Lost my power steering pump with AutoRx

My friend has a 1999 Civic. It only had 25k on it when he got it. Rarely used. We tried ARX in it and put about 2.5 ounces and we had the same squeel from the pump. We then replaced the fluid in there and used just 1 oz instead. No noise. Don't use too much ARX in a PS system especially with...

Amsoil SSO 0W-30 with/without ARX Dose

    Auto-Rx in a 6.0 Powerstroke

Actually I do in the 7.3L. In the transmission, worked great. I did 1 full bottle instead of 6 oz (1/2) as advised by Frank. Tried 6 oz first, but the full bottle made an even more drastic and speedy difference. Smoother shifts and a quieter ride is what I noticed. Haven't done it in the...

Amsoil SSO 0W-30 with/without ARX Dose

IMPORTANT: With every fill-up, this 17.1 Gallon tank gets 1 oz of FP Plus because my mom insists on using cheap Sam's Club gas. Could this add to the high percentage of fuel dilution or is that just typical of this engine? Also, according to the comments from the first run by the sampler, the...

    Land Rover Range Rover P38

I've used Castrol 10W-40 a 2002 Discovery, but noticed a definite "bog down" or "drag" effect as opposed to the 10W-30. It's to be expected. I did notice, however, that it was not as bad when running Amsoil's 5W-40 European Formula. It was a bit quieter and smoother than both of those oils...
