I use Klotz synthetic snowmobile oil in my weedwacker and chain saw, if you have ever used Klotz you know it has that nitro racey smell to it, so it makes those unpleasent chores just a little more fun.

On bottles of both Mobil 1 ATF and gear lube it states, full synthetic " exclusive of carrier oil " what does this mean? it's not 100 % synthetic ?

My 2002 GMC Sierra makes a clunk when it shifts into second gear, (auto tranny), I am taking it back to the dealer (who says it sounds normal) and this might be how they fix it, with grease?

Has anyone used Redline ATF ? there is another post on this site claiming it's made from group V base stock and meets Dexron IV specs, could anyone comment on the potential benefits of this or would the M1 or Amsoil work just as good ? like all Redline products it isn't cheap, thanks.

Thanks for the reply, the problem post I mentioned had to do with trannys slipping after using syn atf and one was a GM truck, I can go back and try to find it, I know synthetics are superior products, I use M1 in the engine, I just wanted some more info on ATF.

I get the K&N for $10.00 US at Advance Auto parts, Autozone has them too, sounds like I'm lucky I can find them.

How about K&N filters they seem to flow well and should filter better than wix according to the info given on their web sites?
