let's say my oil pressure gauge indicates 30 psi when normal driving on the road. It is the best oil for my car if the OP stays around 30 psi when competing?
castrol 0w30 and mobil 1 0w40 dropped OP significantly when drifting.
^^ bump for help.
mobil 1 15w50 for street/drift use?
i tried castrol 10w40 and it held relatively high oil pressure when drifting at a track. But this oil eats more oil than other brand/weight.
So now i'm lurking for something else that has 40. I need something that i can find at autozone...

The Flash point of TDT is 215C, and for HM 10w40, it is 240C.
Because of the lower viscosity spread, HM 10w40 would be slightly more shear...
We all want insurances. that's why i added a high capacity oil pan lol. now i put 6 qts instead of 5. i may add oil cooler which i'll end up with around 6.5 qts every oil change. I'm trying to get as much insurance as possible because i autox and drift.

Is there a way to find out if, let's say, 5w30...
I have been wondering, is there a big difference between normal synthetic and true synthetic? I only know that Mobile 1 0w40 and Castrol 0w30 are the true synthetic ones. Is this all for brands that make true synthetic?
i want engine oil that has thick 40 weight rather than light 40 weight like...
i think the standard analysis for $25 is good for me. http://www.blackstone-labs.com/standard-analysis.php
what test should i be running for oil filter?
I'll be daily driving and drifting once in awhile in my Z. So i want something thicker than 5w30 because i don't engine oil becomming water when drifting. I'm running castrol 0w30 but i'm having ticking sound in my engine which ididn't have previously. So i'm trying to figure out what oil to get...
