    6.0 PSD OCI Issue

I have a 2006 6.0 PSD with 76,000 miles on it. (not 1 problem) I run Shell 5w-40 in the winter and Amsoil 15w-40 in the summer. I run an Amsoil bybass. I believe anything past 5,000 miles on conventional oil is asking for trouble! The injector (oil side) has pretty tight tolerences and the...

    Oversize Kohler Oil Filter

Did it fit OK? Being a good BITOG'er I have several filters that will still work! Come to think of it, the FL-400s filter fits our 2008 Ford Edge engine too. I have some black NAPA and Amsoil filters I can use. Whould look better than the white filter.

    Oversize Kohler Oil Filter

I have a briggs and stratton v-twin that will take the Motorcraft FL-400s filter. What oversize filter fits on a Kohler 23HP v-twin zero turn mower? Used search, came up with nothing. Thanks in advance, and have a great memorial weekend!

    '03-'06 Lincoln LS

I owned a 2005 LS with the V-8. I loved that car!! Sold it to buy a POS Explorer for my growing family. We have 2 children in car seats and the back seat of the Lincoln wasn't getting it done for the wife. The winter traction is awful too. Looking back, I should have kept the Lincoln, and bought...

    Boat- 5.0 V8 Volvo Penta OSI-E/ 30W syn

I have a Volvo Penta 5.7l fuel injected 300HP with the duo props on my 2006 23.5' runabout. What is your water temperature? Shouldn't be higher than 175* Sounds like it is running too hot. I've run Mobil 1 15W-50 for 7 years (2 different boats, first one was 4.3l 230HP fuel injected). I...

    Schaeffers 700 15-40. Cummins 435. 21 k on oil.

Lead seems high. I had been using the Schaeffer's 9000 5W-40 in my 2006 6.0l Powerstroke for about 30,000 miles. My lead started creeping up after every oil change/analysis. I switched to Amsoil 15W-40 AME and the lead instantly went down. I did another change after 7,000 miles (I know too...
